[Belgian Laekenois]

The American Belgian Laekenois Association (ABLA) is an organization committed to the preservation and well-being of the Belgian Laekenois, bringing together owners, breeders, and enthusiasts of the versatile Belgian Laekenois. ABLA is the national parent organization and registry for the Laekenois in the United States and lists among its purposes as obtaining American Kennel Club (AKC) recognition of the Belgian Laekenois. As such, ABLA is eligible to sponsor and/or sanction conformation and obedience events following all AKC rules and regulations.

The ABLA is also dedicated to the preservation of the working ability of the Belgian Laekenois and interested in educating and promoting all aspects of the Belgian Laekenois - including conformation, obedience, herding, temperament testing, agility and tracking, and most important - responsible breeding.
